C3CARES is part of our ‘Beyond’ (Missions) Ministry at God In The City, reaching out beyond the walls of our church into the local community with the love of God. We help people in need, crisis, or isolation, and through the generosity of our God In The City members, we’re able to bring a message of hope through practical support.
Our service includes:
Emergency Relief & Referrals
We support families and individuals in crisis with emergency relief food hampers and, where possible, refer those needing help to relevant agencies/services.
Christmas Lunch
Every Christmas, we welcome those who are homeless, in crisis, or lonely to our C3CARES Community Christmas Lunch in the weeks leading up to christmas. Here they enjoy a gourmet lunch and take part in giveaways and Christmas carols. A relevant message is shared, followed by an opportunity to respond and receive prayer. Every guest receives a generous hamper gift of food & essential items.
Christmas Gifts & Hampers
Thanks to our church’s generous giving, we give hundreds of Christmas gifts and food hampers to those in our local community and beyond who need to feel God’s love in a tangible way, especially at this time of year.
